Co-op Annual Meeting Minutes-2010

The Garwood Water Cooperative drinking water system is located just north of the community of Garwood, Idaho, along the east side of Highway 95. The water system currently serves 113 residential connections.

The Garwood water system consists of two wells, one 20 HP well pump and one 25 HP well pump. There are 3 reservoirs with a capacity totaling approximately 116,000 gallons, and 2 booster pump stations. There are approximately 45,000 feet of 3”, 4”, and 6” class 160 PVC, class 200 PVC, and C 900 water lines. Construction of the water system began in approximately 1988 and has continued with the Hooker Hill expansion project which wrapped up in 2007.

The Garwood water system is currently owned by the Garwood Water Cooperative, run by a board of elected officers, and is operated by Water Works, Inc.

REMINDER

It is again the time of year to get your sprinkler systems turned back on and to get those back flow prevention devices tested and certified.

As always, this process is VERY important to the well being of the water system and to those being served.

Please Submit you test results as soon as possible.

If you are new to the system, have had and irrigation system installed within the last year, or can’t recall ever having provided the information, please fill out a new questionnaire and submit with your next bill payment.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.

Click for cross connection control questionnaire.
