Dry Acres Water and Sewer District is a community water system located in Kootenai County off of Highway 53 between Rathdrum and Garwood on Atlas Road. The water system currently serves approximately 100 customers through 32 active connections.

The Dry Acres water system is comprised of one well, which was drilled in 1974 and is 280 feet deep, two booster pumps, a 10,000 gallon reservoir, and class 160 PVC pipe.

Dry Acres Water and Sewer District is run by a board of elected officials. Dry Acres water system and is operated by Water Works, Inc.


REMINDER

It is again the time of year to get your sprinkler systems turned back on and to get those back flow prevention devices tested and certified.

As always this process is very important to the well being of the water system and to those being served.

Please submit your test results as soon as possible.

If you are new to the system, have had an irrigation system installed within the last year, or can’t recall ever having provided the information for the cross connection control program, please fill out a new questionnaire and submit with your next bill payment.
